Zoey (she/her) uses a client-centered, strengths-based, and empowerment-oriented approach to therapy and sees the safe relationship between client and therapist to be paramount to healing. She enjoys working with people in times of transition, including during pregnancy and postpartum, aging, chronic health conditions, career transitions, and grief and loss. She has worked with individuals, families, and couples from all backgrounds and has experience exploring the impacts of generational and historical trauma with the entire family system. She is passionate about collaborating with the client to meet the client’s goals for transformative practice.

Zoey graduated with her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver and holds an MFA degree in nonfiction creative writing from the University of Montana. She was born and raised in Santa Fe. She is trained in Mindfulness-Based Somatic Emotional Processing (MBSEP), Internal Family Systems, Perinatal Mood Disorders, DBT, and Expressive Art Therapy. She also is trained in CRAFT for supporting families through the impacts of substance use. Her approach is trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ allied, and incorporates Motivational Interviewing, feminist theory, Narrative Therapy, attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology and mindfulness and somatic-based modalities.
