
Tianna (they/them) identifies as a non-binary, queer, artist, and Art Therapist. As a therapist, Tianna has a collaborative approach to therapy creating space with clients that feels supportive, grounding, and safe. They believe in a holistic approach to healing which integrates mind, body, and spirit. Tianna empowers clients to discover internal resources that allow for authentic self-expression, growth, and healing. They use trauma informed approaches that take into consideration a person’s life experiences, cultural backgrounds, and social/societal influences. In session they facilitate exploration of anxiety, depression, complex trauma, attachment, identity, intimacy, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges with nonjudgement, honesty, and compassion.
Tianna graduated from Southwestern College with a Masters Degree in Art Therapy and Counseling in 2023. They are also certified as an Ecotherapist from the New Earth Institute. Through this knowledge they seek to creatively explore the ways in which people relate to each other, nature, and the healing potential that lies within those spaces. Tianna incorporates frameworks including feminist theory, attachment, relational therapy, DBT, mindfulness, transpersonal psychology, depth psychology, and other person-centered approaches.
