Sarah Bunting (she/her) is a white, queer woman from Northern Idaho. She has lived in and loved New Mexico for 10 years. She uses a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach that integrates somatics, attachment, IFS-parts work, and narrative therapy modalities. Her work is further informed by her long time study of mindfulness, conflict transformation, Kingian nonviolence, and deep relationship with the more-than-human world. Sarah considers her therapy practice one way she contributes to collective liberation by accompanying clients as they engage in the personal transformation that empowers them to act in ways that align with their values and vision for the future.
Sarah’s work is relational, collaborative, and experiential. She helps clients cultivate the self-knowledge and acceptance that serves as the foundation for self-trust, personal agency, and the ability to work with (rather than against) one’s self. Sarah finds it particularly meaningful to support people as they navigate anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, identity exploration, and grapple with the existential questions of life and our times.
Sarah graduated from Prescott College with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling in Spring 2025.
