Guided by her values of playfulness and authenticity, Rachel centers the therapeutic relationship in her work and believes that therapy is a collaborative process where the client is empowered as the leader in their own journey. Rachel has worked with individuals of all ages and identities, particularly folks practicing diverse relationship models, those in 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and neurodivergent populations.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, Rachel provides Sand Tray Therapy for teens (14+) and adults. Sand Tray Therapy is an evidence-based approach which offers a unique opportunity to process and heal through experiential, creative, and non-verbal processing. Rachel honors the traditional and multicultural roots of Sand Tray therapies and enthusiastically incorporates its neuroscientific underpinnings. Sand Tray therapy can also be modified for telehealth sessions through an online application.
Rachel also provides clinical assessments for PTSD, ADHD, Autism, dissociative disorders and more. She can also provide gender-affirming healthcare assessments. You can learn more about assessment offerings through Trail Ahead here: Psychological Assessments – Trail Ahead Therapy.
