
Paige Delgado (she/her) is a counselor-in-training at New Mexico Highlands University, completing her internship in the Advanced Standing Master’s in Social Work program. Paige is passionate about helping clients feel heard and offering non-judgmental support, she believes that therapy is most effective when the environment feels open and welcoming. Paige has taken an approach in person centered and trauma informed care, by utilizing mindfulness practices and offering an emotionally open/safe space for clients to heal.
She enjoys working with a variety of clients, offering culturally competent and body positive care, she is committed to creating treatment plans that are not a ‘one size fits all’. Paige understands that every client is unique; by working with clients to identify their strengths, the goal is to achieve a deeper understanding of themselves.
Outside of counseling, Paige enjoys painting, cooking, going to the movies and spending time with family. She believes in creating whimsy in all aspects of life, finding joy in even the smallest of things!
