Monique (they/them) is a Social Work graduate from New Mexico State University, who identifies as queer, multiethnic, and neurodivergent. Their activism is grounded in a deep commitment to social justice, which is reflected in their therapeutic approach. Monique honors and respects each individual’s unique life journey, viewing people as the ultimate experts on their own lived experiences. They utilize a comprehensive and collaborative approach to therapy.

Monique’s practice addresses a range of issues, including body image, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and support for new and expecting parents. They also offer compassionate assistance for individuals exploring gender and sexual identities, and provide trauma-informed support for those dealing with grief. By integrating attachment theory into their practice, Monique helps people understand and heal relational patterns.

In their therapeutic work, Monique emphasizes equipping individuals with practical tools to navigate their challenges, ensuring they have the resources needed for their journey. Monique also incorporates relaxation and awareness techniques to foster a deeper connection to the self and promote holistic healing. Additionally, Monique has experience working with polyamorous and consensual non-monogamous individuals and is sensitive to the unique challenges faced by these communities.
