Greetings! I’m Klassie, here to help you explore the wild and intricate terrain of being human. I am a queer, sixth-generation neuro-spicy New Mexican and 2SLGBTQIA+ ally. My mission is to create a brave, affirming space where all bodies, abilities, genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and sexual expressions are celebrated and supported. I’m here to assist you and/or your partner(s) or family members in unraveling and reconstructing belief systems, breaking free from generational trauma, and exploring the underlying forces that shape your experience. My work is rooted in human-centered care and the decolonization of therapy, where we work together to meet each person’s unique needs.
As a kinesthetic learner, I’ve been driven to seek out as many experiences as possible—each one alchemizing into lessons that have carried me through grief and cycles of death and rebirth. These lessons have shaped me as both a human and therapist, helping me recognize patterns and support participants in refining their behaviors and thoughts to set healthy boundaries, resolve conflicts, and strengthen communication. I believe animals, nature, and expanded states of consciousness offer powerful insights, fostering personal growth and deepening connections with others. My commitment is to help individuals, couples, families, and non-traditional relationships find the courage and wisdom to navigate their unique paths.
In our work together, I incorporate games, animals, music, art, movement, and other creative elements to provide a more tangible and visceral experience beyond traditional talk therapy. My therapeutic approach blends experiential, relational, and attachment theories, drawing on influences from Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused techniques, Narrative Therapy, Somatics, and Body Trust work.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Health, Psychology, and Culture from the University of New Mexico, followed by a 200-hour registered Yoga Teacher Training and a 50-hour Yoga Nidra certification. I recently completed my Master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy at Antioch University–New England, where I integrated academic learning with lived experience to support a holistic approach to healing. In addition, I am in the process of completing the Equine Coaching Facilitator program through EQUUS Inspired with Kelly Wendorf, where I continue to learn from the teachings of horses and the foundational principles of Care, Presence, Safety, Connection, Peace, Freedom, and Joy.
Goldie Hawn, my service dog, is here to support me so I can better support you—and she loves offering her joy to everyone she meets.
