Ash (they/them) is a nonbinary artist, art historian, and art therapist. They recognize the importance of play and creativity in the healing process and believe that therapy can be a space for serious self-exploration while also embracing moments of lightness and joy. They are committed to creating a collaborative and affirming space where clients can feel truly seen. Ash offers a trauma-informed approach that encompasses Art Therapy, IFS-inspired parts work, Relational-Cultural Theory, and neurodivergent/queer affirming models.
As a queer-aligned therapist, Ash understands the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ people and the multiple systems of oppression that affect those with intersectional identities. Ash embraces a holistic and inclusive approach to building relationships with clients. They work to help others explore their relationships, identities, and histories in an empowering and non-judgmental way.
In their free time, Ash enjoys playing video games and making art with their cat, Mia.
