Grace (she/they) is a queer, neurodivergent art therapist and musician. Coming from a background of working with children, Grace believes in keeping play alive and maintaining connection with childlike wonder. Grace received their bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in art and a concentration in museum studies, and their master’s degree in art therapy & counseling.

Grace takes a person-centered and systems approach to therapy, often asking big picture questions of how our global and local communities, natural environments, intersectional identities, and family histories contribute to a complex psychological landscape. She loves to incorporate elements of storytelling, narrative therapy, music, poetry, and punk rock art therapy, and believes that art is essentially all-inclusive and accessible. Grace embodies a queer feminist lens and loves to work with people of all ages and backgrounds, particularly LGBTQ+ teens and neurodivergent folks. As a survivor of cultic religious upbringing, Grace feels deeply honored to help folks find their courage and authenticity in the face of high-demand religious or cultic experience, post-religious living, faith transitions, and spiritual [de/re]construction.

They are rooted in the Health At Every Size (HAES) framework, believing that fat, plus-size, and bigger people deserve therapy that is non-judgmental, person-centered, and actively informed by the barriers of internalized and systemic fatphobia. Grace also often works with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) method, helping clients to connect their emotional experiences to underlying universal needs, dispel shame, create sustainable strategies for meeting those needs, and build healthy communication skills that make sense for them and their relationships.
