Lucia Bisbee, LCSW-S (she/they)
Founder & CEO
Lucia is the Founder and CEO of Trail ahead Therapy. In addition to actively running Trail Ahead Therapy, Lucia is also a queer-identified provider who only works with existing clients to create a safe space where they can find a holistic sense of healing and wellbeing. Lucia thinks of the therapeutic relationship as a partnership and founded Trail Ahead Therapy to create a trauma-informed, compassionate, and welcoming workplace that provides inclusive and quality psychotherapy with a group of clinicians that honors diversity, ethics and progressive practices.
Lucia has extensive experience working with trauma survivors, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and couples and has advanced training in trauma therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Health at Every Size (HAES), the Gottman Method of couples counseling, attachment theory, and Motivational Interviewing.
Lucia has been in private practice in New Mexico since 2018 and is a graduate of the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin).
Paul Dahlgren (he/him)
Marketing Director
Paul (he/him) is a marketing generalist with more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications and a passion for helping people. Historically drawn to careers in public service, Paul enjoys being able to use his marketing and communications skills to help support people and communities across the state. Paul holds a BA in Journalism/Mass Communication from New Mexico State University.
Megan Eastwood (she/her)
Billing and Credentialing Specialist
My name is Megan (she/her) and I am one of the billing and credentialing specialists for Trail Ahead Therapy. I received my BA in Communication studies from New Mexico State University located in sunny Las Cruces, New Mexico.
I live a free-spirited, on-the-road lifestyle with my partner Ian and our beloved dog Hugo, together we travel all over the country displaying our beautiful glass art at different fine art shows. In my spare time I love hiking, paddleboarding, lampworking, ceramics, live music, yoga, and cooking.
One of the true pleasures in my life is meeting and connecting with individuals of all different backgrounds and walks of life, I truly value unique and different perspectives. I believe it’s important to take the time to slow down to understand one another and understand how our unique experiences shape who we are, and where we are in this life. I love being able to contribute to an inclusive loving community where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.

Paula Garcia (she/her)
Office Administrator – Albuquerque
Paula has been the office administrator at Trail Ahead Therapy since 2023. As an Office Administrator in Albuquerque, Paula is often the first point of contact for information about our practice, scheduling, and general questions. Paula uses her diverse background in legal support, accounting, property management, and customer service to support clients and the entire Trail Ahead Therapy team. She enjoys helping people and is happy to be part of a team committed to supporting fellow New Mexicans.
Gabriela Gaspar, LMSW (she/her)
Director of Operations

Gabriela is a Mexican-American social worker with five years of experience and currently serves as the Director of Operations for practice. Gabriela is committed to improving access to mental health care across the state and thoroughly believes in mental healthcare access for all. She believes strongly in the mission of Trail Ahead Therapy and is always ready to assist with any questions or concerns about the services provided.
Gabriela obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Western New Mexico University, and has worked in many different clinical settings, with a primary focus in substance use and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Programs). Gabriela is always available to support our Spanish speaking community, or any other questions about Trail Ahead Therapy.
Magick Leigh Meza (they/she)
Office Administrator – Santa Fe
Magick (they/she) joined the Trail Ahead Therapy team in Summer 2025 as the Office Administrator for the Santa Fe office. With a background in customer service, business operations, and media production, Magick brings a creative approach to client relationships. Magick thrives in fast paced environments where heart and structure go hand in hand. She always makes an effort to ensure clients feel relaxed, cozy, and safe when entering the doors of Trail Ahead Therapy.
In their downtime, Magick enjoys curling up with a pair of knitting needles, snuggling her cat Smoki & dog Bambi, movie nights with their spouse, spending time close to nature, or picking funky outfits to express themself in the wild! She is thankful to be surrounded by a talented and supportive team! With lived experience as a queer autistic & nonbinary human, she brings an inclusive and welcoming energy to Trail Ahead Therapy.
Chelsea Vasques (she/her)
Billing Specialist

Chelsea (she/her) is a recent Minnesota transplant with a background in study abroad and volunteer program management. Before first coming to Trail Ahead in 2020, Chelsea spent many years in Costa Rica teaching English as a second language and sharing the magic of her second home with volunteer groups of all ages.
Chelsea believes in making access to care as simple as possible and is here to assist clients in navigating all insurance related questions.
