Scout (they/them) is a compassionate and dynamic mental health therapist with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Texas State University. Proudly Mestizaje, Scout brings a rich cultural heritage into their work, deeply understanding the complexities of identity and the intergenerational impacts of trauma. They are dedicated to serving diverse communities, including veterans, incarcerated individuals, Indigenous peoples, and members of the BIPOC and LGBTQIAP2S+ communities. Scout is rostered as a Child-Parent Psychotherapist, trained in EMDR, and skilled in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), offering a comprehensive, trauma-informed, and humanistic approach to help clients navigate their healing journeys.

Outside of their professional life, Scout enjoys ballet as a way to unwind and stay connected to their body. They also love roller skating and spending time in nature, where they find peace and inspiration. Scout cherishes time spent with their loving husband and fur children, living a life that balances empathy, culture, and joyful exploration.
