Hello there! My name is Alegra Roybal (she/her/hers) and I am from Pojoaque, New Mexico (born and raised!) I graduated from Colorado College with my BA, and Boston University for my Masters in Social Work. I am a huge reader of fantasy, and I love to tap dance and spend time with my three cats.

I have spent most of my career working with survivors of violence, specifically sexual violence and family violence. I also have experience with those struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety and various other forms of trauma (genocide, cult/high demand religions/The modalities I work with are EMDR, IFS, Attachment, Feminist and EFT.  I am gender affirming and have worked closely with marginalized communities for many years including the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC and disabled folks. I use multiple modalities in treatment, as we know trauma affects everyone in different ways.

The therapeutic space is a sacred space, and I strive to ensure safety for you anyway I can. My role is never to “fix” you; it is to create opportunities with you to shift things in your life to begin feeling whole and self-assured. It would be an honor to be a small part of your healing work and I look forward to meeting you!
