I’m Fern (He/They), I am a transgender, autistic therapist who moved from Florida to New Mexico last summer. I graduated from the University of South Florida with my Masters in Social Work and have spent much of my career working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, neurodivergence, and body image or self-esteem challenges.

My approach to therapy is gender-affirming, trauma-informed, humanistic, queer, and feminist with a centralizing emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. I use multiple modalities in treatment, these may include, but are not limited to, DBT, CBT, Narrative, and Attachment. I am sex-positive, kink-positive, poly-positive, and culturally competent with the perspective that I can and will always be learning in these areas.

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space for folx to explore their emotions and experiences and work collaboratively to create change. I particularly love working with LGBTQIA2+, disabled, non-monogamous and neurodivergent folx.

A few special interests of mine are sharks, clowns, and romantasy books. OH, and my ten animals!

I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your therapeutic journey.
